It's a Montage! It's a Montage! Sources and Credits

The final product..

The poem was recorded by phone using DolbyON.

The brief required that this montage be edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, which I found challenging to do as the platform for editing that displayed in the instructional videos looked quite different to what I saw on my own screen, and so while I would have liked to have added additional effects (particularly easing out on the final frame) and support smoother slide transitions at certain points, after several false starts and mistakes (including at one point losing the whole file midway through an edit, requiring my assets to be downloaded again), I was glad to simply have a finished product!

All images and videos in this project (with the exception of one) were sourced from Canva, where I hold a professional account.

I used a personal photograph in Frame 5 (and you are guilty), which I had created at another time for a personal project using play therapy figurines created by a Ukrainian couple

While I did investigage and explore assets on other platforms e.g. Pexels and Pixabay, it was easier to source images and videos that matched what I hoped to achieve on Canva, given that it's a paid account.

Overall, I'm happy with the final video, though disappointed that I did not manage to learn how to edit the software more effectively in the timeframe, and I hope to improve my skills there before the final submission.
