For the moodboard for this project, I drew from the colours of the school logo for inspiration. I wanted to keep a simple, minimalist, uncluttered aesthetic in line with the "open" and "honest" theme of Restorative Practice.
One of the things I appreciate about being in a school environment is how colour and light interact.
I love a bright, sunny day in school and feel it always brings about a sense of wellbeing in students and staff, so it was important for this project to pick a place to film where that would be maximised (weather allowing in the Irish climate!). I also wanted to include some of the sense of "hustle" and "bustle" and student art work that adorns the walls.
Chairs, tables and doors hold the current aesthetic of CETSS, which is in a temporary building at Griffith College (reducing what can be displayed on the walls etc). The chairs and walls use the colours of the school logo to give a sense of coherence and community, and I wanted to capture this in the Moodboard.
